Prof. Yamanaka Attends White House ES Cell Ceremony

On March 9th Prof. Shinya Yamanaka, Director of Kyoto University's Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS), attended a ceremony at the White House in Washington, DC, during which United States President Barack Obama signed an executive order lifting restrictions on federal funding for human embryonic stem (ES) cell research.
