Prof. Yamanaka Awarded Readers' Choice Prize in Nikkei BP Tech Awards

On the 21st, Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. announced that the Readers' Choice prize in its 2008 Nikkei BP Technology Awards would go to Prof. Shinya Yamanaka, Director of Kyoto University's Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS).

Previously Prof. Yamanaka has been the recipient of the Grand Prize in the 2008 Nikkei BP Technology Awards, as well as of the Medical/Biotechnology Prize in the 2007 awards.
