Kyoto University to Host Open "Academic Day" for the Public

On Saturday, March 10, Kyoto University will host a public-outreach "Academic Day", including a wide variety of discussions and presentations from across the academic spectrum. The event will take place at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall on the Yoshida Campus, and is free of charge. (All sessions will be conducted in Japanese.)

From the iCeMS' Kitagawa Lab, Research Associate Ayako Umemura will conduct a session entitled "Crystal Growth Puzzle Through Children's Eyes" as part of a science café series starting at 10:00 am.

Academic Day visitors will encounter ample opportunities to be enlightened and entertained, engaging in discussion not only with researchers but with other participants from varying backgrounds as well.
