Norio Nakatsuji admitted as Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry

Kyoto University Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) founding director and Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences Professor Norio Nakatsuji was recently made a fellow of the UK Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). This prestigious organization is a world-renowned, professional body for advancing chemical sciences with offices in the USA, Japan, India, and the UK, as well as a distinguished publishing business. RSC supports over 47,000 members around the world.

Nakatsuji has been acting as co-editor-in-chief for the journal Biomaterials Science which is a joint collaboration between iCeMS and RSC.

"I feel truly honored to be admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry," stated Nakatsuji, who is hoping to, "further promote the field of 'Biomaterials Science' by integrating materials and cell sciences as iCeMS has strived to establish."
