Mitinori Saitou wins the 31st Osaka Science Prize

Mitinori Saitou

Professor Mitinori Saitou, from Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Medicine and Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS), was awarded a 31st Osaka Science Prize for his work in "the reconstruction and elucidation of germ cell development mechanisms".  The award is given to promising and upcoming scientists in the Kansai area.

Saitou became the third iCeMS principal investigator to win the prize, joining the 25th Osaka Science Prize awardees, Profs. Shinya Yamanaka and Hiroshi Imahori, in 2007.
