A paper published in Angewandte Chemie by Masakazu Higuchi, an assistant professor at iCeMS in Director Susumu Kitagawa's group, is currently being featured in Nature Research Highlights. Higuchi's team synthesized a porous material with the ability to filter out water, thereby maintaining its functionality, while at the same time picking out and storing organic substances. This study brings researchers a step closer in utilizing porous materials for industrial applications.
