Hideki Hirori wins iCeMS Director's Special Award

On November 26th, iCeMS Associate Professor Hideki Hirori was presented the second "Kyoto University iCeMS Director's Special Award" for his research on "the Generation of Ultra-Intense THz Radiation Sources and Nonlinear Spectroscopy". This award, given out since 2013, recognizes outstanding achievements made by faculty members of the institute.

The awardee was chosen by the Faculty Award Selection Committee under the chairmanship of founding director Norio Nakstsuji. Dr. Hirori received a certificate and an extra prize from the director.

iCeMS Associate Professor Shuhei Furukawa received the Director's Special Award the previous year.
