Ken-ichiro Kamei wins iCeMS Director's Special Award

On January 28th, iCeMS Associate Professor Ken-ichiro Kamei was presented the third "Kyoto University iCeMS Director's Special Award" for his research on "Development of New Tools and Methods for Microenvironmental Regulation of Stem Cells". This award, given out since 2013, recognizes outstanding achievements made by faculty members of the institute.

The awardee was chosen by the Faculty Award Selection Committee under the chairmanship of Director Susumu Kitagawa. Dr. Kamei received a certificate and an extra prize from the director.

iCeMS Associate Professor Hideki Hirori received the Director's Special Award in the previous year.
