iCeMS Scientists to Participate in "Science and Technology Festa in Kyoto"

On June 5, young researchers from Kyoto University's Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS) will take part in national science and technology festival aimed at high school students.

The event, sponsored by the Japanese Cebinet Office as part of its annual Business-Academia-Government Collaboration Summit, will include information booths from each of the five World Premier International Research Center (WPI) Initiative institutes. As many as 5,000 are expected to attend.

Around 20 young iCeMS scientists will take part, engaging the visitors in "play" activities aimed at broadening understanding about institute research subjects ranging from the material sciences to ES and iPS cells.
