55th iCeMS Seminar: Prof. Kostas Kostarelos

In this lecture, specific examples of engineering carbon nanotube material to achieve control over their cell biology (binding, internalisation and intracellular trafficking) on interaction with cell cultures and the correlation with their cytotoxic impact and ensuing cell viability will be shown. Such engineering exercises are considered essential in the development of CNT for biomedical and eventually clinical use.
