CeMI: Center for Meso-Bio Single-Molecule Imaging

Prof. Gurdon will review the past history of nuclear transfer to amphibian eggs and more recently to mammalian eggs. He will discuss his current understanding of the reprogramming of somatic cells by this route. He also plans to discuss the extent to which he can see the reprogramming of single transplanted nuclei in real time.
