81st iCeMS Seminar/CeMI Seminar Series 23: Prof. Vance P. Lemmon

CeMI: Center for Meso-Bio Single-Molecule Imaging

Development and regeneration of the nervous system requires the regulated formation of axons and dendrites. A comprehensive understanding of neuronal process development on a molecular level is lacking. High Content Analysis (HCA) of primary neurons offers a powerful way to study how different genes and compounds influence neuronal differentiation. Four screens will be described, including in vivo experiments that validate the hits in promoting axon regeneration.
