168th iCeMS Seminar: Dr Terence Strick

We use correlative single-molecule nanomanipulation and fluorescence to study in real-time the assembly, activity, and disassembly of multicomponent DNA repair complexes carrying out complex, multistep reactions. We apply this approach to two canonical DNA repair pathways, obtaining information on key mechanistic features of these systems.
