第169回 アイセムスセミナー: Ingrid Tessemer 博士

Atomic force microscopy (AFM) analyses provide unique and important structural and functional information on protein-DNA interactions at the level of the individual molecules. We apply AFM imaging to the study of DNA lesion search and recognition strategies employed by different DNA repair mechanisms. In my talk, I will focus on and compare our findings for lesion detection approaches in DNA mismatch repair, nucleotide excision repair, and the direct damage reversal pathway of the alkylguanine DNA alkyltransferase.
