第192回 アイセムスセミナー: Philip Llewellyn 博士

We all know the fascinating chemistry of Porous Coordination Polymers. In gas storage and separation there is huge promise for PCP's due to their potentially large pore space, tunable surfaces and possible structural flexibility. The imagination of process engineers is being tested but unfortunately the promise of this beautiful class of materials has not been fulfilled. My group aims to evaluate PCPs for potential applications in gas storage and separation. The aim of this talk is to show the audience our approaches in terms of the experimental evaluation of materials, the combination of experiments with computer modelling and the current exploration of structure-property relationships.
