26th iCeMS Seminar: Prof. Jie-Sheng Chen
In this seminar, Prof. Chen will show that his nanocomposites exhibit properties distinct from either that of the inorganic component or that of the organic component. Light has been shed on the ionic conductivity, the photoluminescence and the magnetism of the nanocomposites. More importantly, the organic species stabilize the inorganic nanoparticles to a great extent, and as a result, the latter may be applied in various areas including bio-science.
