134th iCeMS Seminar/CeMI Seminar Series 36: Prof. R. Holland Cheng
Higher-order structural modularity provides the essential framework of subunits in the overall presentation of the consequent conformation of complex macromolecules. Here, the multivalence of an oral DNA vaccine will be exemplified as platform technology for targeted vaccine design. Similarly, the protein domains of an HIV Env immunogen will also be demonstrated, as its tertiary modular units can direct the complex quaternary organizations in defining metastable conformations of discrete functional states.
