172nd iCeMS Seminar: Prof Hironori Funabiki
For cellular proliferation, chromosomes must induce the assembly a variety of macromolecules, such as spindle microtubules and nuclear envelope. Although nucleosomes are the fundamental structural unit of chromosomes, it has been impossible to directly manipulate nucleosomes to examine their roles in these processes. A new strategy to approach this problem will be presented.
