Embassy of France Representatives Visit iCeMS
On November 13, representatives from the Embassy of France, Dr Adeline Lassaux, Attaché for Science and Technology, and Mr Antoine Buss, Deputy Attaché for Science and Technology, visited iCeMS.
The meeting began with Prof Shuhei Furukawa introducing iCeMS, highlighting the institute’s long-standing connections with France. iCeMS Deputy Director Prof Mineko Kengaku then provided insights into Kyoto University’s core facility model, emphasizing the contributions of iCeMS’ Analysis Center. The Embassy representatives asked a variety of questions and engaged in discussions, leading to a fruitful exchange of ideas and insights.
The visit concluded with a tour of iCeMS’ research facilities. This visit marked another step toward strengthening the collaborative relationship between iCeMS and France in advancing science.
