iCeMS Crossing Eight – Sweets and Selfies

On December 17, iCeMS monthly event took on a special form for the year’s final retreat. Participants were able to break away from their computers for the first and only entirely live event this year. Small groups convened and set off into the city for the “Selfie Photo-Hunt Challenge.” As temperatures and raindrops began to fall about 80 people bundled up for an excursion to discover the sights and flavors of Kyoto before the season’s first snow. Undoubtedly new connections were made as this month group introductions were exchanged for face to face self-introductions.
