Prof Hiroshi Imahori Receives Career Award in Porphyrin Chemistry

iCeMS’ Adjunct PI, Prof Hiroshi Imahori (Graduate School of Engineering)was honored with the Career Award in Porphyrin Chemistry.

This Lifetime Achievement Award acknowledges his exceptional research contributions. For the 2024 award, five recipients were announced, and Imahori delivered his award lecture titled "Porphyrins as a Key Component for Photoinduced Charge Separation, Solar Cells, and Optogenetics" on June 27, at the International Conference on Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines (ICPP) held at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in the United States.
