Six WPI Centers to Hold Joint Symposium Sponsored by Kyushu University's I2CNER

 

Kyushu University's International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I2CNER) will sponsor a special symposium on the latest developments in the MEXT-sponsored WPI program. A showcase for cutting-edge scientific research, the event is aimed at middle and high schoolers as well as the general public, and will be held on November 12 at Fukuoka Bank Hall in Fukuoka.

The World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) of the Japanese education ministry (MEXT) includes six institutes nationwide, including Kyushu University's I2CNER and Kyoto University's Institute for Integrated-Cell Material Sciences (iCeMS). Professor and iCeMS Director Norio Nakatsuji will appear as one of the featured speakers.
