Poster Submission Instructions

Registration: if you wish to present a poster, please register via the special web form by Tuesday, February 19.

Abstract deadline: Wednesday, February 20, 2013
Briefing slide deadline: Sunday, March 3, 2013

Abstract Preparation

• Prepare your 1-page abstract in English, using the template (1303_iCeMS_Symp_abst_frm.doc) available in the poster package archive (ZIP 176KB).
• The abstract file should be submitted in PDF format with file name A_FamilyName_GivenName.pdf (eg. "A_Kyoto_Taro.pdf").

Poster Briefing Slide Preparation

• Prepare your 1-page poster presentation slide in English, using the template (1303_iCeMS_Symp_pstr_sld_frm.ppt) file in the archive.
• The poster slide should be submitted in PDF format with the file name PB_FamilyName_GivenName.pdf (eg. "PB_Kyoto_Taro.pdf").

Abstract Submission

Abstract deadline: Wednesday, February 20, 2013

• Prepare the abstract file as per above.
• Email the file to oap@icems.kyoto-u.ac.jp with subject Abstract_FamilyName_GivenName (eg. "Abstract_Kyoto_Taro") including the following in the body text of the message:
• Poster title
• Authors' names (marking the presenter's name with an asterisk "*")
• Submitter's information (name, affiliation, address, telephone number, email address)
• A confirmation message will be sent within 1 week of submission.

Poster Briefing Slide Submission

• Prepare the poster briefing slide as per above.
• Email the file to oap@icems.kyoto-u.ac.jp with subject PB_FamilyName_GivenName (eg. "PB_Kyoto_Taro") including the following in the body text of the message:
• Poster title
• Authors' names (marking the presenter's name with an asterisk "*")
• Submitter's information (name, affiliation, address, telephone number, email address)
• A confirmation message will be sent within 1 week of submission.

Poster Preparation Instructions

• Posters must be in English.
• The poster panels measure 95 cm (w) × 210 cm (h).
• Each presenter will be allotted 1 minute and only 1 slide. Symposium support staff will compile all slides into a single presentation file, prepare necessary projection equipment, and administer the display of the slides.
• Please mount your poster by noon of Monday the 18th.
