iCeMS to establish an On-site Laboratory in Singapore

iCeMS is pleased to announce that its new “Laboratory for Green Porous Materials” has been approved for establishment by Kyoto University's On-site Laboratory project.

This laboratory will be jointly established by iCeMS and the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) of Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) , and will conduct research on environmental catalysis using porous materials, aiming to develop new materials and research fields that contribute to the environment.

In addition to the further growth of cutting-edge research, it is expected to expand collaboration with local universities, research institutes, and industries in Singapore, as well as the exchange of researchers and students.

This will be iCeMS’ fourth on-site laboratory when it is launched, following the Smart Materials Research Center (co-founded with VISTEC, Thailand) approved in 2018, the Quantum Nano Medical Research Center (co-founded with UCLA, USA) in 2019, and the Integrated Biosystems Center (co-founded with Academia Sinica, Taiwan) also in 2019.
