iCeMS-SJTU Internship 2025 Concludes with Final Presentations
On August 29, iCeMS hosted the final presentations of the iCeMS-SJTU Internship Program, marking the conclusion of a six-week research stay by two students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). The event was held in the iCeMS Seminar Room and opened with remarks from Prof Kazumitsu Ueda, Research Administrative Director, who commended the interns for their dedication and effort throughout the program.
The students presented the outcomes of their research projects:
- Yuxuan Xing (Namasivayam Lab) introduced “A novel nanoplatform for protein interaction and biocompatibility”
- Longdi Xu (Uesugi Lab) presented “Self-assembling adjuvant: Rational design and biological performance characterization.”
Following the presentations, the interns reflected on their experiences at iCeMS. They expressed that the research environment was highly stimulating and rewarding, and they appreciated the opportunity to learn from their mentors and peers.
The iCeMS-SJTU Internship Program continues to deepen ties between Kyoto and Shanghai, fostering international collaboration while providing young researchers with a valuable platform to develop their skills and exchange ideas.
