Kyoto iUP Student Presents Research at iCeMS Internship Program

On October 11, Kyoto iUP student Khine Zin Zin Thaw delivered her final presentation for the iCeMS internship program. Attending the presentation were members of the Namasivayam group, as well as members from other groups, and iCeMS Director Shigenari Uesugi.

This summer, Khine participated as an intern at iCeMS. In her presentation, titled "The Conductance of Nanopores," she shared her research conducted in the Namasivayam lab, discussing the conductance properties of nanopores, along with the experimental methods and results.

At the end of her presentation, Khine expressed her appreciation, stating, "My research experience at iCeMS was extremely valuable, and it has further increased my motivation for research. I hope to continue my work at iCeMS in the future."

We celebrate Khine's successful completion of the internship program and look forward to her continued success.
