iCeMS and China Medical University Hospital Sign MoU for Collaborative Research
On October 18, iCeMS and China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) held a ceremony in Taichung City to renew and expand their existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), further strengthening their partnership in advancing medical research. From iCeMS, Director Motonari Uesugi joined with Professors Jun Suzuki, Mineko Kengaku, Daniel Packwood, and Ganesh Pandian Namasivayam.
The ceremony began with welcome remarks by Professor Chien-Wei Lee, followed by an address from CMUH Superintendent Der-Yang Cho, who expressed enthusiasm for the collaborative opportunities this partnership will bring. iCeMS Director Uesugi also shared his vision for the partnership, emphasizing the potential for groundbreaking research.
The official signing was conducted by Cho and Uesugi, symbolizing the commitment of both institutions to work together towards shared goals.
The renewed MoU reflects this history of collaboration and formalizes new goals, particularly in leveraging research outcomes for practical applications in clinical settings.
