iCeMS Kyoto Junior Fellows
The iCeMS Kyoto Junior Fellows program supports young researchers in pursuing their own independent research as an Assistant Professor modeling the role of a Principal Investigator (PI). Building on their expertise in either life science or materials science, iCeMS Kyoto Junior Fellows will gain a deep understanding of both fields and take on the challenge of pursuing integrative research from an original perspective. To gain the skills to become a PI, iCeMS Kyoto Junior Fellows are supported in many ways including receiving mentoring from two PI’s with expertise in life science and materials science, respectively. In addition, they are involved in international collaborative research through the activities of several overseas on-site laboratories developed by iCeMS.
