Academic Cooperation & Exchange

iCeMS pursues world-leading research through active collaboration with many overseas universities and organizations. We have actively established lointly-operated laboratories with overseas institutions, and four of our laboratorieshave been certified for the Kyoto University On-Site Laboratory Initiative. Moreover, iCeMS has launched the Small Molecule Lab in cooperation with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and other collaborating partners. iCeMS also established a collaborative research and development center for microscopy with Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH, Germany. This center aims to develop novel, world-leading live cell-imaging techniques. Furthermore, research partnership agreements have been made with 15 institutions across the globe.
