Academic Cooperation & Exchange
iCeMS pursues world-class research through active collaboration with many overseas universities and organizations. We have established jointly-operated laboratories with overseas institutions, and five of these laboratories have been certified for the Kyoto University On-Site Laboratory Initiative. iCeMS has launched the Small Molecule Lab in cooperation with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) and other collaborating partners. iCeMS also established a collaborative research and development center for microscopy with Carl Zeiss Microscopy GmbH, Germany. This center aims to develop novel, high- and super-resolution live-cell imaging techniques. Additionally, research partnership agreements have been made with 20 institutions across the globe.
